About

I am a digital photographer who loves the outdoors and admires the intimacy of a good portrait. Educated at Denison University earning my B.A. in Visual Arts with a minor in Educational Studies, I have evolved my art practice in photography as a method of self discovery, and a critique to society. I draw inspiration from the field of portrait photography, and am inspired by the inquisition on everyday occurrences in the fields of public health and education. From displaying indecision on identity, ways of human experiences in and within our natural world. The art work I create practices portraiture in both outdoor and studio settings. Photography is my medium and I wouldn’t have it any other way than capturing moments to study and savor. The topics my work challenges and critiques puts my work  in conversation with topics of identity, societal commentary, and natural preservation. I hope viewers of my work grow more aware of themselves, the subconscious and its impact on the actions and experiences of their lives.
